Story Info:

Characters:
Skill/Spell System: Every character has skills/spells, known as "Artes" in this game. Each different type of class learns different types of artes, and there are different levels of artes that can be linked together and used for combos. "Tales of..." cameo characters have artes, as well, but some of them do not have the super-special artes. Curing spells can be used outside of battle, as well as in battle. Characters learn new artes by leveling up. One configures 4 artes to be used with buttons. The four artes can be set to be used in conjunction with a combination of a D-Pad direction button/Left Control Stick and the arte button. i.e., one arte is performed by pressing the arte button by itself, another arte can be done by pressing the up button/tilting Left Control Stick up+arte button, another with down button/tilting Left Control Stick down+arte button, and another with left or right/tilting Left Control Stick left or right+arte button.
Battle System Info: The battle system in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 is very similar to the battle system in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology.
Audio/Music: The game uses a lot of (remixed versions) music from "Tales of..." games past--Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny, Tales of Eternia, Tales of Destiny 2, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Rebirth, Tales of Legendia, and Tales of the Abyss, Tales of the Tempest, Tales of Innocence, and Tales of Vesperia.

Graphics: Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 has a great opening anime sequence. The animation is a bit colorful and splashy, fairly similar to its predecessor Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, and slightly reminscent of two of the previous "Tales of the World" games, Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2, and Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3. The face chat system has returned, as opposed to the full body shot system used in Tales of Destiny 2 and Tales of Rebirth. The town/dungeon sprites and battle sprites of "Tales of..." cameo characters look a bit more authentic than they looked on Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, but still not perfect.
